The International Guitar Competition "Young Performers" 2009 will take place during the festival on 6th April 2009.
Official registration Sunday 5.4.2009 - 11.00.

Jury:

Hans Peter Gatterer (president),  Iwona Bodziak, Elisabeth Irmler, Members of the Guitar Orchestra Burgenland. 

Those competitiors who are neither active participants nor auditors have to pay a processing fee of € 40,00 for the Guitar Competition. 

First Category:
- for participants born after April 1, 1997
 
Free choice of a program 2 different epochs from 
a) renaissance or baroque,
b) classic or romantic music
c) modern music (starting with 1919)

with a maximum performance time of 8 minutes

Second Category:
- for participants born after April 1, 1993

Free choice of a program 2 different epochs from 
a) renaissance or baroque,
b) classic or romantic music
c) modern music (starting with 1919)

 with a maximum performance time of 10 minutes

Prizes:

First Prize:  
Voucher about $ 250,-- by D'Addario Foundation (not in cash refundable)
Diploma, Evening Concert, Savarez Strings, refunding of hotel fee for one person (3 nights)

Second Prize: 
Diploma, Evening Concert, Savarez Strings

Third Prize:  
Diploma, Evening Concert, Savarez Strings

 

ðImportend notice:

The winners of the International Guitar Competition for Young performers Rust 2009 has to perform one piece for the evening concert of the festival on 6. April 2009! 
 

Those who are neither active participants nor listeners must pay in advance a processing  fee of EURO 40,00 for the Guitar Competition!
